Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologist

Location: Surrey
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced overseas Psychologist to join a private mental healthcare organisation that established in 1988.
The company has a dedicated team of 8800 employers helping 3000 individuals across 140 sites throughout the UK.
The vacancy is in a 31 bed service providing acute and high support inpatient rehabilitation (Level 2) services for men with complex mental health needs.
Key responsibilities for the Clinical / Counselling / Forensic Psychologist is:
- You'll be working 40 hours a week
- Work as a team Psychologist within a multidisciplinary team (MDT)
- Carry out psychological assessments & provide therapy to individuals & groups
- Collaboratively develop care plans with the MDT
- Provide training & supervision to colleagues, & consultation to teams
- Evaluate the service, contribute to its development & carry out clinical research
- Disseminate outcomes via conference presentations and publications.
Minimum requirements for the Clinical / Counselling / Forensic Psychologist role is:
- HCPC registered as a Practitioner Psychologist but open to experienced candidates awaiting registration.
- Must have experience within a forensic unit.
- Preferably trained in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical and DBT .
- Passionate about working with people with a range of complex mental health needs.
