MSI Recruitment are seeking a Consultant Radiologist with a Major interest in Head & Neck. This is for a full-time position in a South of England hospital, located on the coast. The Radiology team consist of 5 Consultants with team members each currently providing a mix of Head and Neck and diagnostic Neuroradiology provision but there is flexibility to specialise in one or other area.
Key Responsibilities for Consultant Radiologist:
The appointed individual, in collaboration with existing consultant colleagues will provide a comprehensive Head and Neck imaging service which includes ultrasound and FNA and ultrasound guided core biopsy lists, CT and CT guided biopsy, MRI, sialography and sialographic intervention, barium swallows including video swallows with speech therapy support.
The job comprises 8 direct clinical care (DCC) and 2 supporting programme activities (SPA). One of the SPA sessions can be taken off site. We are happy to support flexible working (e.g. compressed job plan, four day working, home reporting etc.)
Minimum Requirements for Consultant Radiologist:
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists or equivalent.
- Demonstrated dedication to a career in general radiology.
- Extensive NHS (or equivalent) experience with active participation in Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) settings.
- Clinical training and experience equivalent to the standards required for entry into the UK CCT.
Compensation Package:
- Salary: £93,666 to £126,281
