The London Ambulance Service is the busiest emergency ambulance service in the UK; serving a population of approximately 8 million people. The LAS employs approximately 8,000 members of staff and volunteers, of which 4,500 are in frontline roles.
Newly qualified Paramedics working for the Trust receive:
Salary of £29,553 to £30,786, rising to £37,552-£38,768 after completion of the training programme
37.5 hours per week with extra paid shifts available
